Bio:
As a medical student I was a member of UCI’s PRIME-LC program that provides focused education on serving Latinx populations. After completion of residency I joined an FQHC in Calfornia’s Central Valley as Chief Medical Officer. After a couple years in that position, I eventually transitioned to teaching and became clinical faculty at Kaweah Delta Family Medicine Residency Program in Visalia, CA before eventually moving to San Diego and joining a wellness group practice upon completion of my Functional Medicine training through the Institute of Functional Medicine. After my time in San Diego, my family and I decided to make a new change in our career and lifestyle and move to the Yakima Valley. I am new to the Washington area and look forward to practicing at CHCW to meet our community’s needs as well as providing a Functional Medicine perspective in my teaching and practice here with CWFMR.
