50th anniversary of WIC

As the National WIC Alliance celebrates the 50th anniversary of WIC, we want to hear from our members on how YOU plan to celebrate this incredible milestone. If your community is organizing a celebration, you can submit it using the WIC Hub calendar or using this form. We plan to keep this updated throughout the year so that everyone can be aware of the events happening across the country.

WIC professionals serve almost seven million low-income, pregnant women, new mothers, babies, and young children in over 12,000 communities and 89 states, territories, and Indian Tribal Organizations (ITOs). WIC makes such a difference in families’ lives. It provides access to healthy foods, nutrition education, breastfeeding support, and referrals to health and social services.
