Philosophy of Care: I believe in a straightforward and open approach with patients. To me, health is a means to an end. People have many different responsibilities, concerns, and people in their lives that rightly demand their attention. That is what it means to live. When a patient arrives at clinic or at the hospital, health may be number one or number ten on a their list of priorities. I believe honest and clear discussion between doctor and patient can help patients make their own informed decisions about whether they need to move medicine up in that list of priorities. When a medical decision needs to be made, patients can rely on me to give them straight talk that keeps in focus life as they live it.
Medical Interests: Adult primary care, psychiatry
What drew you to CWFMR and/or Yakima: I have always dreamed of being a small-town doc and sharing the life of a town with my patients. I’m looking forward to getting to know my neighbors at the farmer’s market, the rodeo, and on the hiking trails in the hills and mountains around the city.
